Each practitioner is fully trained and certified in the Eagala method of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning. They have a passion for Horses and their ability to connect with humans on so many levels. Combined with this, all of the Mental Health Professionals are fully qualified and accredited to a governing body. And all of the Equine Specialists have extensive training and qualifications in the Equine field.
Caitriona is the Network Coordinator for EAGALA in Ireland. Alongside the Equine Assisted Psychotherapy work she is a Secondary School Teacher and Guidance Counsellor. She trained with Monty Roberts as an Instructor of Natural Horsemanship.

Louise is a fully qualified Psychotherapist with over 20 years experience, and is accredited with the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
She is the founder and Director of Westmeath Counselling Service, where she works with Individuals, Teens and Groups.
Louise is a certified Mental Health Professional in the Eagala model of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
Louise works with Caitriona O' Meara of Wellbeing with Horses, where they facilitate, Equine Assisted Learning, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Training sessions, with two amazing groups of Horses.

Denise trained with EAGALA in 2015 in Ireland and started working with Groups from various organisations in the community such as Carers, LGBT & Addiction Recovery in the Meath area. Denise has had amazing experiences in working with a team of horses in groups & individual people is diverse. She has found that in working with multi cultural beliefs & traditions, ages, sexual preferences, personal/physical abilities & specific mental health needs has all been so enriching for her as a professional person, some amazing moments for clients in meeting & learning from both horses & humans alike! - & that continues!

Niamh is a qualified and accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist and works with groups and individuals, specialising in addiction. She is also a BHS instructor working with both adults and children.
She first trained with EAGALA in 2015 and is certified as both Equine Specialist and Mental Heath
facilitator in the EAGALA team.

Nichole lives on the Roscommon side of Athlone and works part time in Cherry Orchard Equestrian Centre Dublin.
She is an experienced equine professional having spent many years in the industry. Nichole is qualified as a BHS stage 3 coach and as a certified therapeutic riding coach with A.I.R.E & Child Vision. She is a certified Eagala practitioner.
Nichole has worked with many counsellors & psychotherapists in the past including Katrina Lyons delivering EAP sessions to private individuals & groups. She is currently working on getting EAL & EAP sessions set up in Cherry Orchard and in Athlone.

Áine worked as a nurse in the H.S.E North East dental system with children and adults with special needs for nineteen years.
She left in 2019 to raise family and run her successful thatched cottage and farm rental in the countryside where she has a mini menagerie of animals!
With a lifetime love and care of horses and a huge interest in various types of therapy she was always looking for something like the Eagala model.
Áine is a qualified Equine Specialist in the Eagala model and a qualified breathwork coach. She has now introduced 'Breathe with Horses' at Trohanny Cottage. This takes the form of Breathwork/mindfulness sessions in the company of Horses outdoors in Nature.

Linda is a fully qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist with a Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy. Clíona certified Eagala Equine Specialist and has always been passionate about the connection between horses and people, which
led her to establish Cara Capall Therapy. She has experience working in riding schools, is a
qualified riding instructor for AIRE-approved centres, and holds a degree in Business in Equine. Over the years, she has furthered her knowledge in equine care, welfare, and anatomy through training with BHS, HSI, Equi Ed, and other respected equine professionals.
As a certified Eagala Equine Specialist, Clíona works alongside her herd of five unique horses to provide client-focused, equine-assisted psychotherapy sessions. She is fully insured, Garda vetted, and operates as an associate member of Horses in Education and Therapy International (HETI), ensuring a professional and ethical approach.
