Women's Well-Being Group Through Horses
Is life feeling excessively busy?
Are you feeling a lack of connection?
Does life get overwhelming?
Are you feeling unsure about who you are now?
If you answered 'Yes' to any of the above, then this monthly group get together is for you.
Horses do not judge who we are, what we look like- they judge us on our insides & do they want to be around us (are we safe to them!). The group will be about landing, taking time to take a breath & see ourselves, through the horses eyes.
The horses are free, to interact with us or not maybe; to be their authentic selves. There is no tack, as no horse riding, which allows the horses to be there true selves & equals to us. We really get to see & feel their amazing characters. This is one of those thing one needs to try, to understand it!
We work under the EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth And Learning Association) model, an Equine professional & mental health professional together with the horses to create a safe, calm environment.

Respect
Relationship Skills
Responsibility
Boundaries
Empathy
Choices & Consequences

The horses allow us all, a chance to step back & see the world from another's eyes-, new perspective
This will be a fun based (activity) workshop, through horses (no horse riding- all ground based) where we get to see how we each function in & think about the life.
This can be transformational to adult-child relationships, by allowing ourselves the space to relax & enjoy one another's company, in the presence of horses (research horse heart math- institute) The horses have 17 different facial expressions, some very similar to our own & they will try to communicate with you & with there body language; they help us to relearn the language of body language (research Equifacs).
We work under the EAGALA model; a qualified mental health Psychotherapist and Equine professional working together. Years of experience working with children and family services.
The day will begin with Introductions of what we do, observations of the horses, meeting the horses . We then have some fun based learning activities for children and adults. All re-learning how to hear & see one another, a new perspective, a stronger relationship.
