Each practitioner is fully trained and certified in the Eagala method of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning. They have a passion for Horses and their ability to connect with humans on so many levels. Combined with this, all of the Mental Health Professionals are fully qualified and accredited to a governing body. And all of the Equine Specialists have extensive training and qualifications in the Equine field.
Eileen Bennett
Eileen works with Teenagers, groups and individuals. She provides Personal development and wellness Coaching, personal and Professional development.
Eileen has been Involved with horses all her adult life. She is a HSI riding coach with a special love for nervous adult beginners or those who have lost their nerve.
Eileen trained as Therapeutic Horse-riding coach in 2013 and set up Horses Connect in 2014. She has been heavly Involved in EAGALA since 2016, and is a certified Equine Specialist.
Eileen is also a GRETB tutor, and has qualifications in Leadership, Managing People, Personal Development and more, Level 9 postgraduate in Mental Health Promotion (2020)

Mary Mitchell
Mary works with Individuals and groups and provides Personal Development and corporate training.
Mary has been an EAGALA equine specialist since 2016, She is also a BHS instructor, a therapeutic horse riding coach, and an equine assisted learning facilitator. Mary is also trained as a Special Needs Assistant.
Mary has been running Horses Connect since 2014, which provides a range of equine facilitated services to both individuals and groups from Galway and the surrounding counties.
