The five Principals of the Eagala Model

H - High Standards

Eagala practitioners are dedicated to delivering high standards in our Ethical Principals and level of Professionalism. This guides us in our decision making, and actions, in running successful Mental Health Programmes incorporating Horses.

O - Outcomes

Research has shown that both Clients and Practitioners report positive outcomes, such as: strengthening Resiliency and transforming lives.

R - Revolutionary

It is the non-traditional team approach that works so effectively to treat mental health challenges. We are equal partners, THE Eagala certified Mental Health Professional and Equine Specialist, the Horse and the Client.

S - Safety

Creating a safe environment that allows for both emotional and physical safety, opens a pathway to overcoming obstacles and allowing deeper healing.

E - Empower

The client is the expert, we empower them to engage in their own process and live their own experience.
